Opened in 2001, this museum was built at the site of the ancient palace and provides the visitors with interesting historic experiences. You can get a picture-perfect view of Osaka Castle from the 10th floor of the building within walking distance!

Make your way to the magnificent main gate of Osaka Castle, where you can see the huge stone walls and moats of the castle.

Houkoku Shrine
Located inside the Osaka Castle compound, this Shinto shrine was built in honor of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a famous warrior and daimyo (lord). It is colorfully embellished from season to season, and is particularly beautiful during the cherry blossom and autumn leaves seasons.

You can enter the Castle Tower Museum to get great panoramic views of Osaka from the observatory or try on a warrior costume on the second floor.
